The bars, the state of the day, the holiday hours and the home page on a day we are closed – at real size, as a visitor sees them. The dates in the samples are only examples.
Bars above the header
They run across the whole screen above the header. A visitor can close each of them except today's closing. An event is announced by a bar on a phone and by a dot in the menu on a computer.
State of the day
On a phone a chip on the home page shows it, on a computer the top bar of the header.

When the opening hours change, the card is on the home page and the contact page. Closed days are red.

The home page then announces the closing with a bar and in its words, and offers a call instead of directions.
